Crafting sustainable, Chinese-inspired cultural gifts for University of Oxford

Sustainability carried through Eastern craftsmanship — where aesthetics transcend cultural boundaries.

In April 2025, EarthPuzzle was honored to design a collection of sustainable cultural gifts for the University of Oxford — elegant creations inspired by the traditional Chinese gaiwan and infused with eco-conscious craftsmanship using recycled coffee grounds. Blending Chinese aesthetics with environmental values, these gifts became a medium for cultural dialogue, expressing the quiet confidence and deep cultural insight of our students on a global stage.

As a symbol of Eastern aesthetics, this gift became part of Oxford’s academic exchange program — sharing with the world the sustainable imagination of Chinese youth, while showcasing EarthPuzzle members’ initiative and creativity in real cross-cultural experiences.

Led entirely by EarthPuzzle members — from initial concept to final delivery — this project embodies our belief in transforming ideas into tangible impact, and reflects the sense of ownership and purpose that drives our work.
